Not just your teeth, but your entire mouth is my concern. Your initial exam begins with a discussion of your general health, as the interrelation between oral and general health is significant. Besides a thorough examination of your teeth, I will inspect the soft tissues, such as your gums, tongue and cheeks. Of course every patient is given an oral cancer screening at every exam.
